Heritage Sunday

We invite you to join us as we celebrate 90 years in Macomb on July 26, 2015. Ninety years ago our church was officially started after a series of tent revival meetings held on North Madison street which would then become our first church location. There are several different activities going on during the day to commemorate this time and to remember how God has blessed His church over the years. These include:

  • Morning service at 10:45 a.m. with our District Superintendent of the Northwest Illinois District of the Church of the Nazarene, Rev. Scott Sherwood.
  • Shortly after the service, a picnic style lunch will be served for those that are present.
  • At 2:00 p.m., we will have a concert with the music group “Fortress Quartet”. They will be singing in our morning worship service as well, but this will be a dedicated concert. You can find out more about them at this link.

Along with these activities, there will be pictures and articles showing the history of the church over the years.

We look forward to seeing you!
